HEALTH CARE SYSTEM

The Andek Council area is in the Mbengwi Health District. That means the various health Centers which offer Health Care services are answerable to the Medical Officer who is resident in Mbengwi. There are at the moment 7 health Centers in the Council area with only five of them operational. There is still an urgent need for more functional health centers especially in the villages of Ebang which is fa from the nearest health Center and has a large population.
