(Map of Ngie)
Andek Council area (Ngie Sub Division) has two main climates (guinea savanna) in the villages of Tinechong, Etwii, Bonatu, Ajei, Angai, Abebung, Bonambufei, parts of Angong and most parts of Andek. The villages of Azem, Teze, Esaw, Bassic, Nkon, Abichia, Echia, Ebang, Etoh and parts of Andek, Angong are all covered bt natural rain forests having a semblance of those of the equatorial region. Even so these villages covered with natural rain forest are a direct neighbor to Manyu Division in the South West Region of Cameroon.
Rainfall in Andek Council Area is very intense and over the last 15 years there is no month of the year in which rain does not fall. The months of July to October have the heaviest down pour and the months of December to February are the ones with the least down pour.
Ngie therefore has vastly an agro ecological vegetation that tends to favour tree crop agriculture with tubers and root crops highly produced as compared to cereal which is less cultivated in the villages located in the guinea savanna zone.
